Born in London in 1965. After graduating from college with an emphasis in theatre design from Nottingham Trent University, he began his career directing theatre and making film and television trailers. Since the mid-1990s he has made numerous music videos for artists like Radiohead, Massive Attack and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. He has directed the feature films “Sexy Beast” (2000), “Birth” (2004) and “Under the Skin” (2013).
