Born in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, in 1970. He directed his first feature in 2004, the film “Nina”, exhibited at the 28th Mostra. Dhalia also made the feature films “Drained” (2006), winner of the Jury Prize and the Critics Prize at the 30th Mostra, “Adrift” (2009), presented at the Cannes Film Festival, “Gone” (2012), “Bald Mountain” (2013), “On Yoga The Architecture of Peace” (2017, 41st Mostra), “Tungsten” (2018) and “Anna” (2018, 43rd Mostra).
