Born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1959. Ağacıkoğlu directed several short films, including “I Am Ivan” (2005), “Ip” (2006) and “Police” (2008). Among his feature films are “September” (2011), “Forgive Me” (2013), “The Field” (2016) and “The Cage” (2021).
