Born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1958. Bia Lessa is a multimedia artist with an extensive production and has worked with theater, opera, exhibitions, shows, fashion shows, video art, installations, as well as performances and curatorial work for museums and biennials. She made the feature films “Crede-mi” (1996) and “Then I Died” (2016, 40th Mostra), both directed with Dany Roland, and the miniseries “Cartas ao Mundo” (2022), based on the work of Glauber Rocha.
