In 1959, Lanny Morris and Vince Collins were the most famous comedian twosome in America. At the height of their popularity and success, they broke apart with no plausible explanation. A young woman found dead in a hotel room they were to occupy and that they had never been in, was the pivot for the break-up. Even though neither of the two was ever formally accused of committing any crime, the scandal made the rupture inevitable.
