A small profile of the Brazilian caricaturist Miécio Caffé (1920-2003). Born in the state of Bahia, Caffé was very active from the 50’ through the 90’ and was owner of one of the largest private collections of Brazilian music records. The director’ skillful use of camera captures the vividness of Caffé’ caricatures while also enhancing the soundtrack music, which brings Caetano Veloso’ unique rendition of a Brazilian Carnival march A Voz do Povo (“Voice of the People”), a little known tune recorded by the famed Brazilian singer Orlando Silva in 1940.
