Midwinter Night’s Dream (2004)
Sobre o filme
Serbia, winter 2004. A man returns home after being away for 10 years. His name is Lazar and he is determined to forget about his oppressive past and start a new life in a country that also seems to be looking forward to the future. On arriving home, he discovers that his apartment is being occupied by a woman named Jasna and her daughter Jovana, a 12-year-old autistic girl. Jasna was abandoned by her husband who couldn’t cope with his daughter’s problem, and is also trying to start anew and leave her difficult past behind. Since they don’t have anywhere to go, Lazar allows them to stay, and little by little, the three of them become marginalized by society. A special relationship between them begins to grow.
