The Definition of Insanity (2004)
Sobre o filme
The film follows the story of Robert, an actor who dreams of a leading role that can boost his career. In his obsession for an acting job, he struggles to survive in a competitive and often cut-throat environment without realizing how much this game affects the lives of those around him. Like many artists in pursuit of survival, he is confronted with some existential dilemmas. How much of his life can be sacrificed in the name of art? How much longer will he have to wait? When he meets the legendary filmmaker Peter Bogdanovich, his questions are answered in a most unexpected way. A bitter-sweet comedy about dreams, daily rituals, defeats, humiliations, triumphs, and unexplained optimism. Some find this quest a fairy tale, while others find it the very reason of their existence.
