Oliver Twist (2005)
Sobre o filme
In the nineteenth century, Oliver Twist is an orphan who, as do so many others, suffers hunger and slave labor in England. He is sold to a grave-digger, ill-treated by his family, and decides to run away to London. There, he gets involved with a pickpocket who hands him over to Fagin, an old man who controls a group of prostitutes and small outcasts. Oliver meets a kind, rich man, Mr Brownlow and believes he can adopt him. But Fagin not only will never permit such a thing - he plans to rob the man?s house. A classic story by Charles Dickens in a new version.
