Sobre o filme
A week-end holiday in the stifling Parisian summer. Antoine, an insurance trader, waits for his wife, Hélène, a successful lawyer. The couple has to face a long journey to the south of France to fetch their kids at a summer camp. Since Hélène is late coming, Antoine decides to have a few beers. She finally arrives and the couple hits the road. But the alcohol gets to Antoine, he starts losing concentration and speeds up. The faster he drives, the angrier his wife gets. They start a fight and the trip becomes a nightmare. Running out of patience, Hélène leaves the car when the husband pulls in at a gas station for a refill. On the way to the next train station, where he hopes to find his runaway wife, Antoine gives a ride to a stranger. The encounter between these two men will have serious consequences both for the driver and his marriage.
