Tadine is a long way from home and the only thing she wants is to return to Kosovo to be reunited with her beloved dog Kostantin. While the girl’s mother does everything to keep the family united, the father falls ever deeper into despair. But Nadine’s attempt to adapt to her new life and her determination in conquering the friendship of a boy who lives next door forces the father to overcome the past and help his daughter find peace and hope.
