Many things have changed in the life of this old lady since she left her small hometown in the countryside of Argentina to try her luck in Buenos Aires. Today, grandma turns 84 and is very happy that she was invited to be bridesmaid for the wedding of a niece she only knows by name back in her hometown. Not only does the woman accept the invitation, but she decides to take the whole family with her – and this includes four generations! All of a sudden, grandma and her daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws and friends find themselves traveling in a trailer on a long journey to the border with Brazil. As well as the heat and the distance, they face many health problems along the way. The unexpected coexistence will change forever the lives of this unlikely group of travelers.
