Craj, the film, was inspired by Craj, the opera, idealized and directed by Teresa De Sio, written in partnership with Giovanni Lindo Ferreti. The plot describes the journey of Prince Froiridipo and his manservant Bimbascione through the region of Puglia. The Prince?s bizarre dream in which a giant spider compels him to travel south, is the start to a fantastic story.
