Moon of Avellaneda (2004)
Sobre o filme
Similar to so many others in the Argentine, Moon of Avellaneda is one of these social institutions founded by French, Spanish, and Italian immigrants. In the twenties and thirties, the clubs were venues for leisure, meetings, and encounters and, from the forties until the seventies, the driving force for the suburbs. In the nineties, however, they met with difficulties. So much so that the descendants of the founders of Moon of Avellaneda have decided to transform the club into a casino. The trials and tribulations that Argentina itself experienced in the same period are shown, symbolically, through the club.
