The film follows a spirited 94-year-old woman who tells a story that takes on a dangerous life of its own. Eleanor Morgenstein has always been engaged and connected with the people around her. Thus, after a devastating loss, she moves from Florida to New York to live with her daughter and grandson, hoping to reconnect with her family. However, she feels even more adrift and invisible. One day, without realizing it, she enters a support group to which she doesn’t exactly belong, eventually revealing a story that inadvertently brings her a level of attention she never intended. Eleanor becomes caught up in the invigorating consequences when a young journalism student seeks her out as a friend and mentor. When things go too far, Eleanor must face the truth.
