Fermín, a veteran painter at the twilight of his career, has begun to suffer from a trembling hand. On the verge of ruin, he is forced to move into the studio he shares with his friend Javier de Juan in an old garage. There, his son Pablo, also a painter, returns from a long trip to India to live with him. Their opposing views on art and life soon lead to conflict. Pepa, Pablo’s mother and Fermín’s ex, makes them a proposal: to enter a competition to reinterpret Bosch’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights”, which could solve their financial problems.
