Set in 2025, five centuries after the condemnation and death of Gilles de Rais. A young couple discovers his case while isolated from the world. Like their contemporaries, they question the guilt or innocence of this man — one of the first to be convicted as a serial killer and who inspired the legend of Bluebeard. They have the idea of recreating the trial.
