“Kino-Pravda” is a series of silent newsreel films by Dziga Vertov, edited by Elizaveta Svilova, and photographed by Mikhail Kaufman. These films document Russian life in the early 1920s. In “Kino-Pravda No. 20,” they report on the Pioneers, which was a compulsory youth organization in the USSR for children and teenagers aged 9-14. The film includes coverage of an excursion to the zoo.
The short film "Kino-Pravda Nº20" will be presented together with the screenings of the film "Kino-Eye".
