Young Darkhan left Kazakhstan to live abroad. Seven years later, now in his 30s and engaged in his career as a scientist, he returns to the country with his girlfriend, Elena, to visit his family. His grandfather, Sagat, invites them on a trip: he wants to visit his native village and reconnect with his roots. Darkhan, Elena, and Sagat embark on a transformative journey — and the three must face the challenge of accepting and understanding each other, testing the bonds that unite them.
