Teresa cancels her vacation plans to help her mother, who has had a minor accident. The two end up spending a stifling summer together —they are unable to agree, even on the simplest and most trivial matters. However, the forced coexistence brings unexpected and profound issues to the surface, and Teresa experiences revealing moments with her mother. These two women from different generations who have chosen seemingly opposite paths, now find themselves reconnecting as they experience love and loneliness.
