Seita is a musician living in Tokyo who is going through a severe slump. He disappears, and his sister Azumi, a young woman who is deaf, finds him at the mountain house where they spent their childhood. Isolated there, he records bird calls for inspiration. The two siblings begin living together in the house —at first, Seita is annoyed by Azumi’s presence, but her movements and sounds also help to unblock his creativity. However, the artist becomes irritated again when Taichi, Azumi’s boyfriend, decides to visit.
"Leading your Birds" makes its world premiere at the 48th Mostra.
