In this no dialogues animation, avant-garde filmmaker Alexander Kluge delves into artificial intelligence, specifically a program used for medical research, in search of the images he wants. In different chapters, the director stitches them together with historical archival material, quotes, statements, formulas, tables —and humor. He also links it to his own past, going back to the wildest phase of his career, when some low-budget science fiction films were made. It all becomes a bubbling stream of images, text and music, with an ending that pays homage to his professional friend Edgar Reitz.
