Jornal da Mostra

In its 47th edition, Mostra presents 74 Brazilian films: there are movies by new directors, renowned filmmakers, restored films, and more.

The Mostra Brasil section - which is a panorama of the contemporary audiovisual production in the country - presents 63 features. Other four Brazilian films are part of the New Directors Competition section. 

Mostra also included in its programming the restored copy of “Corisco e Dadá” (1996), by Rosemberg Cariry, and the special screening of “25” (1975), a tribute to the playwright, director and actor José Celso Martinez Corrêa. The film, which was directed by him and Celso Luccas, was presented in the first Mostra, back in 1977.
