International Perspective
NASA plans on sending, in the next decade, astronauts to Mars. There is a big concern about this mission’s challenges —not only the physical, but especially the psychological ones, because the crew will not have contact with Earth in real time for three years. The documentary follows Al Holland, a NASA psychologist, who must prepare the crew to deal with isolation, and the astronauts in their preparations for the mission.
