International Perspective
Directors Elisabeth Perceval and Nicolas Klotz go to the French archipelago of Ouessant, where, in 1928, filmmaker Jean Epstein (1897- 1953) isolated himself and made film essays. Almost one hundred years later, the documentary shows the calm landscape of the place, shot in long and insistent takes, much like Epstein used to do.
