A day in the life of the people responsible for cleaning the streets in post- WWII Rome. They are seen waking up, clearing the streets, eating lunch by the Roman Forum, sorting and unloading the rubbish at the rubbish dumps and then going home at the end of the day.

The short film "N. U. (Nettezza Urbana)" will be presented together with the screenings of the film "The Vanquished".
