International Perspective
For over two years, filmmaker Wim Wenders followed the Germain painter and sculptor Anselm Kiefer. The documentary shows a portrait of the artist: it explores Anselm’s 50 years career, in addition to his memories from Germany and his current days, living in France. Wenders presents a cinematic experience of the artist’s work, which explores human existence and the cyclical movement of History, inspired by literature, poetry, science and religion.
