Chinese filmmaker, Weimin graduated from the Beijing Film Academy and completed two Masters at the Ohio University, in the United States. She worked as a cinematographer and as a producer of documentaries and fiction films, made for theaters and television in China and in the USA. She directed short films, like “The House of Spirit” (2001), “Hutong Days” (2013) and “Coil” (2018). “Of Color and Ink” is her debut as a feature film director.
