Born in Bilbao, Spain, in 1976. Iriarte is an artist and filmmaker, and since 2015 he is a member of the selection committee at the San Sebastián Film Festival. He has worked as assistant director, cinematographer and producer. He directed short films, including “Decir Adiós” (2007), “El Mar” (2010) and “Cosas que Ya No Existen” (2014), presented in film festivals like FID Marseille, Mar del Plata and Cinéma du Réel. “Foremost by Night” is his first feature film.
