Born in Turin, Italy, in 1937. He made his first work at the end of the 1960s. His underground films were often projected in museums and art galleries. In 1987 he made his first official feature, “Elettra”. From him, Mostra presented “Piccoli Orrori” (1994), “Appassionate” (1999), “Médée Miracle” (2007), “Rosatigre” (2000), “Fare la Vita” (2001) and “Marlene de Souza” (2004). He also made films like “Iolanda Tra Bimba e Corsara” (2012) and “Resurrezione” (2019).
