Born in 1976. Sofia is a theater and movie actress and film director. She studied at the Professional School of Theater in Cascais and performed at the Cornucópia Theater in Lisbon from its foundation in 1996 until its closing in 2016. In cinema, she starred in films such as “Cinerama” (2009, 33rd Mostra), “Disquiet” (2010, 34th Mostra) and “Demain?” (2011, 36th Mostra). In 2013, Sofia directed her first feature, “8816 Versos”, screened at the 37th Mostra, and then “Illusion”, in 2014.
