Born in Delaware, USA, in 1977. He dropped out of college to work as a cinematographer. He started shooting films in 1999 and has collaborated with directors such as Abel Ferrara, Alex Ross Perry, Albert Maysles and the Safdie brothers. “The Sweet East” is his first feature as a director.
