Born in the United States, Grobman grew up around the forests in New Hampshire. He studied film at Johns Hopkins University. From 2016 to 2019, he was a core leader and driving creative at Heartisan Films. He worked in projects as a cinematographer and editor, and in 2018, directed his first documentary, “Gorilla Girl”.
