Born in Roxbury, USA, in 1962. She is an actress, writer and filmmaker. Miller made the feature films “Angela” (1995), winner of the Filmmakers Trophy at the Sundance Film Festival, and “Personal Velocity” (2002), presented at the Locarno Film Festival and winner of the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance. She also directed “The Ballad of Jack and Rose” (2005), “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” (2009) and “Maggie’s Plan” (2015), all of them presented at Mostra. She also directed the documentary “Arthur Miller: Writer” (2017).
