Born in the Lam Dong Province, Vietnam, in 1989. After graduating in information technology, he realized his interest in cinematography and filmmaking and learned how to shoot and edit by himself. He made the short films “The Mute” (2018) and “Stay Awake, Be Ready” (2019), presented at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, awarded in the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival, and which served as a first outline for “Inside the Yellow Cocoon Shell”, his first feature.
