Born in Ceará, Brazil, in 1977. He directed some short movies such as “Dos Restos e das Solidões” (2006), “When the Wind Blows” (2008, 32nd Mostra), “A Montanha Mágica” (2009) and “O Som do Tempo” (2010). In 2007, he made his debut in feature film direction with “The Grain”, exhibited at the 31st Mostra. Cariry also signed the direction of “Mãe e Filha” (2011), “Clarisse or Something about Us” (2015), “The Boat” (2018, 42nd Mostra) and “A Praia do Fim do Mundo” (2021).
