Born in Bilbao, Spain, in 1963. He directed the short film “Mama” (1988) and the features “Torremolinos 73” (2003), winner of best film and best direction awards at the Málaga Film Festival, “Blancanieves” (2012), winner of the Special Jury Prize at the San Sebastián Film Festival, and “Abracadabra” (2017).
