Neto Borges is a documentarist who was born in the Maranhão state, in Brazil. He has a history degree and lived in France during 1993 where he specialized in editing. In Brasília, he founded the production company Olho Filmes, which, since 2002, has been producing ethnographic and institutional films, and workshops. He made the documentaries like “Sob o Signo da Poesia” (2011), “Servidão” (2019) and “Ventos que Sopram Maranhão” (2021).
