Born in Tunisia in 1976. He studied at the Institute of Advanced Business Studies in Tunis and audiovisual communication at the University of Valenciennes, in France. He directed, among others, the short movies “Romantisme, Deux Comprimés Matin et Soir” (2004), “Mouja” (2008) and “Selma” (2014). “Hedi” (2016), his debut feature film, won the best first feature award at Berlin International Film Festival and was exhibited at the 40th Mostra. He also made “Dear Son” (2018, 42nd Mostra), screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
