Swedish filmmaker who was born in Iran in 1982. In 2011, Alami graduated as a director from the National Film School of Denmark. He directed several short movies, including “Nothing Can Touch Me” (2011), “Void” (2014), co-directed by Aygul Bakanova, and “Mommy” (2015). His first feature film, “The Charmer” (2017), was screened at the 41st Mostra and awarded at the San Sebastián Film Festival. “Opponent” is his second feature film.
