Born in Uruguay in 1986, María graduated in social communications and became a director, editor and photographer. She has exhibited her work in museums and galleries in Uruguay, Brazil, United States, Spain and Italy. She co-created the video installations “Global Myopia” (2015) and “Heterotopia 1” (2019). “Ida Vitale” is her first feature film.
