Born in Slovak Republic in 1975. He studied photography at the Fine Arts School and documentary filmmaking at the Academy of Performing Arts, both in Bratislava. He is a screenwriter and director for cinema, advertising spots, and music videos. His first feature film, the documentary “Blind Loves” (2008) won the CICAE Art Cinema Award in the Director’s Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival. He also made “Miracle” (2013), which received a special jury mention in the East of the West section at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and “Nina” (2017), presented at the 41st Mostra.
