Born in Brasília, Brazil, in 1976. He graduated in journalism from the University of Brasília and studied film at Escuela Superior de Artes y Espectáculos in Madrid. Galvão made his debut in feature films direction with “Nine Chronicles for a Screaming Heart” (2012), presented at the 36th Mostra. He also made the features “A Violent Dose of Anything” (2013, 37th Mostra) and “We Still Have the Deep Black Night” (2019, 43rd Mostra), awarded at BAFICI.
