Born in Kosovo in 1982. Right after the war was finished in 1999, Nela came back to North Macedonia, where he lived as a refugee, and started to work as a photographer. In 2003 enrolled in the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prishtina in the film & TV directing department. He made, among others, the short movies “The Wall” (2014) and “The Red”, in addition to the feature “Rooftop Story” (2017). “Silence of the Sirens” is his second feature film.
