Born in Londerzeel, Belgium, in 1978. She graduated from the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. Fien made the feature films “Someone Else’s Happiness” (2005), presented at Toronto and San Sebastián film festivals, “Unspoken” (2008), “Kid” (2011), and “Home” (2016), screened at the 41st Mostra and winner of best director award of the Horizons section at the Venice International Film Festival.
