Born in Naples, Italy, in 1978. Angelis graduated from the Rome Film School and made his feature film debut with “Mozzarella Stories” (2011), presented at the 35th Mostra. He also made the feature films “Perez” (2014), “Indivisible” (2016), awarded at the Venice International Film Festival, and “The Vice of Hope” (2018), best direction prize at the Tokyo Film Festival. In addition to his work in cinema, he directed films and series for television and streaming.
