Born in Nice, France, in 1968. Musician and filmmaker, he adapted Pier Paolo Pasolini’s autobiography as a short documentary entitled “Qui Je Suis”, in 1996. He made feature films like “Something Organic” (1998), “The Pornographer” (2001, 25th Mostra), winner of the Critics’ Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, “Tiresia” (2003, 27th Mostra), “On War” (2008), “House of Tolerance” (2011), “Saint Laurent” (2014), “Nocturama” (2016), awarded at San Sebastián Film Festival and Mar del Plata Film Festival, “Zombi Child” (2019) and “Coma” (2022), winner of the Critics’ Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival.
