Director and screenwriter, Asel studied film at Kyrgyz State Institute of Arts, in Kyrgyzstan, and at school RustamIbragimbekov, in Ukraine. Since 2010, she is the head of Creative Women of Asia Foundation. She directed documentaries, including “Granitsa” (2014) and “Lampa” (2015).
