Iranian-Canadian filmmaker, Anna is the founder of Morning Bird Pictures, production company based in Canada and dedicated to producing films about the contemporary Middle East. She directed, among others, the short film “Transit Game” (2014), and the web interactive documentaries “Migrant Mothers of Syria” (2020) and “My Life in Limbo” (2020). “Valley of Exile” is her first feature film.
