Through biology and genetics, man can become the Creator. That is the documentary’s motto, that investigates the possibility of resurrecting extinct species. The movie follows a group of the so-called mammoth hunters, on the remote islands in North Siberia. Once the carcasses, kept intact by the ice, with muscle tissue and blood, are found, researchers in South Korea and in Russia can recover the DNA. The goal is to bring the animals back, through lab’s technology —an idea that, decades ago, was just fiction.
